1:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. Break out sessions

3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Break out summary discussion - Bistro, Johnson Center

6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Filmmaker panel with Carma Hinton and Elvira Dones - Cinema, Johnson Center

Break out sessions: The breakout sessions in the afternoon are designed to be interactive discussions pairing a visiting scholar with a Mason faculty member with a focus on audience participation. Each of the scholars will speak on what the legacies of the end of the Cold War mean for the future of the regions they know best and will respond to the points raised by Gorbachev on the night of the 24th and by the participants in the round table on the morning of the 25th.
